Judy Craig
is a program administrator for the College of Education.  In the late fifties teachers were in great demand, so I obtained a Cadet Teaching certificate in two and a half years of college.   I completed my bachelor's degree at Kent State University and worked several years as a teacher in fourth, third, second, and first grades.    The Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1964 brought a surge of Title I Reading programs.   I was fortunate enough to be selected to teach in that program and was thus motivated to earn my Masters in Reading.

Later I earned a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Administration and spent the last ten years of my public school career as an elementary principal and chairperson for language arts.

After retirement I did some adjunct teaching at the Venice MCC Campus.   Now I am working at the University of South Florida at Sarasota/Manatee, learning new things every day, and enjoying it!
