Sandy McDonald is the Sr. Grants & Contracts Administrator for the Division of Sponsored Research Office. Prior to joining the staff at USF in May of 2004 she was the Contract & Grant Administrator in the Sponsored Program Office in the College of Medicine at the University of Cincinnati (UC) in Ohio. Other duties during her 10 years at UC included financial positions as the Business Manager/Administrator for the Department of Molecular and Cellular Physiology and the Department of Environmental Health. Prior to joining UC, she was employed at Cincinnati Bell Inc. an affiliate of  AT&T for 13 years in a variety of managerial training development positions related to customer service.

Sandy is a Certified Horticulturist through the University of Cincinnati. On the weekends you can find her working not only in her own yard and those of her neighbors, but out in the community of GreyHawk Landing where she resides with her husband and daughter. Their grown twin sons choose to stay in Ohio, a mistake she hopes they will rectify one day soon.
