Brunch on the Bay

17 Years of Giving

Since the founding of the Sarasota-Manatee Campus in 1975, USF has served the academic needs of the local community, business leaders and organizations by advancing its reputation as a leader in higher education and continually producing well educated graduates who become leaders in our community, nation and world.

Locally, our influence is evident in the nearly 5,000 USF Sarasota-Manatee faculty, staff and students, and over 15,000 USF alumni living, learning and working in our communities. It is also apparent in the support of nearly 1,000 guests who attend Brunch on the Bay each year.

Our vision of providing a student-focused learning environment - conducive to social, cultural and leadership development and intellectual growth - is supported by the Brunch on the Bay Endowed Scholarship. As in previous years, gifted funds may be eligible for State matching funds, increasing the impact of your generosity. Together with your distinguished colleagues, neighbors and friends, your gift will help provide financial access to higher education for more local USF students. Like you, we want the best and brightest to stay in our community and continue to enhance our quality of life and financial support plays a key role when students choose where they want to attend school.

The impact of your gift goes far beyond its monetary value. Each semester, students who receive scholarship support benefit in a way that cannot be easily perceived at the time of their graduation. The value of their endeavor is shaped by the educational experience at USF, which not only has a direct impact on the community but a global one as well. Your contribution helps make a difference to deserving students by making higher education affordable. We reach out to you to become a partner in this endeavor.

A USF Sarasota-Manatee volunteer or staff member will call you soon. We hope you decide to be a partner with us this year, leaving your legacy of education for generations to come.

Thank You!
