Program of Study at USF Sarasota-Manatee

 

Students attending Manatee Community College should complete the Associate of Arts degree.

State Mandated Common Course Prerequisites.


ENC 1101 Freshman English I

ENC 1102 Freshman English II

Six semester hours earned in courses taught in the English Department, each with 6,000 words of evaluated writing for a total of 12,000 words.

Students must earn a "C" grade or better and maintain a 2.5 GPA in the English major to fulfill graduation requirements.

Transfer students must earn at least 15 semester hours in the major at USF.

 

NOTE: Additional courses outside the major will be required to meet university requirements for graduation. 

 

Some courses may not be offered at the Sarasota-Manatee campus.
