Biography
Brooke W. Stanley has a B.A. from Kenyon College and an M.B.A. from the University of Cincinnati. She began her Ph.D. at Louisiana State University, then transferred to Texas A&M University. Her research interests include executive compensation, corporate governance and agency problems. Her dissertation essay, "An Empirical Analysis of the Relations between Financial Statement Misreporting and Firms’ Use of Bank Debt" was presented last year at the FMA's Top Ten Percent Sessions and the FDIC Workshop for Dissertations in Financial Institutions, Intermediation, and Markets. She was most recently a member of the faculty at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln.
