Dr. Pencek earned his D.B.A. in Finance from Mississippi State University in 1988.  He received his M.B.A. from Mississippi State University.   He received his B.S. from State University College at Fredonia.  He comes from Meredith College where he received the outstanding teacher award in 2003.  At Meredith College, he was the founder and faculty advisor to the Student Investment Group, which invested money for the college.  He has presented papers at Academy of Financial Service, Decisions Sciences Institute, Academy of Business Disciplines and Midwest Finance Association.   His research interests are investments and efficiency of markets.
