should do so only after consulting with
the academic advisor. Optional plans may
require coursework at another USF
campus.
Practicum in
Adult Education
The
practicum is usually undertaken by those
students with little/no experience or
current involvement in the field of adult
education. Students taking practicum must
complete a minimum of 120 hours in the
field. Other criteria will be covered when
the student meets with the academic advisor
to obtain approval of the practicum.
Students with experience in adult education
will identify, with an advisor, an elective
to take in place of the practicum.
Comprehensive Exam
The comprehensive exam is a
culminating activity that is undertaken as
part of the Master's Seminar. Submit
application to sit for
comprehensive exam by deadline for the term
you plan to take Master's Seminar and the
comprehensive exam.
