Transition Point Projects
There are five transition points throughout the Elementary Education master's program. Transition Point 1 is admission to the program; the others are listed above in the program of study. Projects 2 - 4 must be submitted to Chalk and Wire. TPP#5 is submitting graduation application.

Information about TPPs 2 - 4 is provided on the application and on each rubric - TPP#2 rubric; TPP#3 rubric; TPP#4 rubric. Use the TPP Guidelines for tips on submission, etc.

Students must apply to take each Transition Point Project at the beginning of the semester they plan to submit it. The application is available online and the deadline is generally the Friday of the third week of classes. See deadlines for upcoming dates.

Students submit completed transition point projects to Lisa Mullen, graduate program advisor, SMC B322, by the deadline, which is generally the 10th week of the semester.

APA (American Psychological Association) Style
The editorial style that many of the social and behavioral sciences have adopted to present written material in the field and the preferred style for assignments and Transition Point Projects. It is strongly recommended that you purchase the latest edition of the Publication Manual to guide you in your writing. Online resources are available too.
