About the Program

The M.A. in Elementary Education: Curriculum Emphasis is a 33-credit-hour program designed for students with a bachelor’s degree and initial certification who desire to increase their competence in the general elementary curriculum. Students may incorporate courses required for the Florida State Reading Endorsement into their plans of study.

Program Completion
The program may be completed over six semesters by taking two courses per semester.  Courses are arranged in Blocks with transition point projects that are completed before proceeding to the next Block.

Courses are scheduled in the late afternoons, evening, or Saturday mornings during the school year and are held on the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus.
