About the Program
The M.Ed. in Educational
Leadership is designed to develop
outstanding leaders, supervisors, and
principals for the schools of Florida and
the nation. Graduates are eligible for
principal certification. The program is
designed to teach and assess the ELCC and
NCATE standards for Educational Leadership
programs and to specifically prepare
students for Florida’s Educational
Leadership Examination (FELE).
The Educational Leadership master’s program
strives to teach students how to influence
systemic school improvement through
collaborative and informed decision making.

Program Completion
Flexible scheduling of courses on nights
and weekends, in five-week and ten-week
blocks. Complete the program in 15 months on
the accelerated plan or 24 months on the
regular plan --while working full time.
