Fostering the Infusion of Technology into Teaching

This program offers interested faculty access to support in order to develop their confidence and skills further to integrate technology into their teaching. FITT is intended as a collaborative process, which offers faculty an opportunity to share and learn from each other with the assistance of our experienced technology specialists on the Sarasota/Manatee campus.
 

Aims of the program:

• To keep faculty up to date on emerging technologies
• To enhance the infusion of technology into teaching
• To offer an appropriate level of individual and small group support that enables practical applications of teaching to be nurtured
• To demonstrate technological processes that faculty can take advantage of in their teaching and learning
• To offer an individual needs based program that meets the diverse strengths of faculty
• To support the established FITT network on the USF Sarasota/Manatee Campus
• To offer, through the Blackboard FITT organization, a centralized location for sharing and collaboration.
