Finding a career you love begins here. Job satisfaction is directly related to your interests, values, skills and personality. Finding a job that suits your personality, interests and values makes it easy to work 40+ hours a week. You can enjoy your job.
Career inventories provide valuable information to make a decision on a career or major. They are simple and easy to use. Career inventories usually ask questions about your interests, values, skills and personality. The results of the questionnaire reveal career possibilities and often link directly to occupational descriptions. If you still aren't sure that the suggested career(s) are right for you, print out the results and make an appointment to speak with a Career Advisor.

Discover your personality strengths and how they relate to your career options. This assessment gives detailed information about personality type and a broad range of career options that may be right for you based on personality.
Florida Career Choices Planner (Facts.org) Sponsored by the Florida Department of Education. Click on "Career Planning," then "Florida Choices Planner." You can choose to jump in or create a portfolio which will save your work. The Choices Planner offers a Career Finder, Interest Profiler and Work Values Sorter to help you find a career that suits your personality. This site also provides employment projections and salary information within the state of Florida. The Resume Builder, Cover Letter Creator and Job Interview Practice are also available to help you get hired once you've decided on a career.
This is a comprehensive career research and planning tool. Their Success Center offers Values, Temperament, Personality and Interests assessments to help you determine a career path. This resource also offers professional resume and cover letter builders and job search strategy information.
The Princeton Review Career Quiz This short quiz asks questions about your preferences to determine an interest area and a work style. Once you've completed the quiz, you can sign in to get a list of careers that may match your interests and style.
Use the three written exercised to create an in-depth Career Blueprint based on your likes and dislikes.
Developed by the University of Minnesota, this survey asks you to rate 62 items from 0 to 3 in the following categories: communication; research and planning; human relations; organization, management and leadership; and work survival skills. Once completed, the survey provides a percentage ranking of your skills from these major skill set categories.
The Self Directed Search (SDS) The self directed search is one of the most widely used assessment tools. The SDS measures your strengths and interests based on multiple factors and identifies three occupational categories matching your responses. There is a fee for this report.
