Cooperative Education (Co-op)

A co-op is hands-on, paid, career-related work related to your academic work.  Co-ops provide you with valuable training in your chosen career field, check out your career choice before you graduate and get a foot in the door of a company you might like to work for permanently. 

 

Federal Work Study

The Federal Work Study program is a federally funded, need-based employment program which allows students to earn money for educational expenses by working on campus.  If you are interested in working on campus through the Federal Work Study program, you must first apply with financial aid to determine if you are eligible for the program.  Once you are eligible, Career Services will work with you to find employment on campus.
