Professional networking is the art of creating and maintaining a collection of business friendships and acquaintances.  Networking is critical to job success in a competitive job markets and industries.  A professional network can also be an invaluable asset when it is time to look for a new job.

Networking Opportunities

Whether you're just starting to build a network, or just looking to expand yours, Career Services offers a variety of events that make great networking opportunities.  The Business Etiquette Dinner offers an evening of fine dining, tips for brushing up on business etiquette and networking with students, alumni and employers.  Career Networking Fairs offer students and alumni the opportunity to explore their career fields,  network with employers and learn about current career opportunities.  Shadow a Mentor gives students the opportunity to meet with a professional in their field of interest for an afternoon of job shadowing and networking.
