The Business Career Networking Fair is an excellent opportunity for USF students and alumni to explore career and internship opportunities in a wide variety of fields including finance, banking, accounting, insurance, IT and more.  Recruiters for the top local companies will be available to speak with you about career and internship opportunities.  You can also ask questions at the Career Networking Fair about an organization’s culture, salary schedule and benefits that you should not ask at the initial interview. 

For students looking for a new job or internship, the Business Career Networking Fair is the first step in making contacts.   It offers the convenience of meeting with several employers and saves you time searching for a job or internship.

Information sessions will also be held as a part of the Business Career Networking Fair.  Feel free to join these sessions to learn more about careers that interest you!

Be ready for the Business Career Networking Fair!  Here are several steps you can take to make this event work for you:

• Click here to find out which employers will be attending.  Check back often, new employers will be added often! 
• Log on to the employers’ websites to learn who they are and what they do. 
• E-mail Career Services your resume to career@sar.usf.edu for proofreading. 
• Bring several high quality copies of your resume with you. 
• Be prepared to discuss your qualifications, skills and academic background. 
• Obtain the recruiter’s business card and follow up with a thank you note. 
• Stop by A111 on October 24th for Resume Review with Geico.  Representatives from Geico will be on hand to review your resume and give helpful tips before the career fair.
• Attend a Prepare for the Fair Workshop on October 25 in A107.  Workshops will begin at 11am, Noon, 3pm and 5pm.  Stop by for tips and tricks to make the most of any career fair.
