MCC student?
If you have completed 30 credits toward your AA
and meet the provisional admission criteria you may apply early - as much as a
year in advance!
A student in the MCC/USF Sarasota-Manatee 2+2 Program becomes eligible to apply for provisional
admission to the University through the Joint Admission’s Program when the
following criteria are met:

Have completed 30 semester hours of academic credit at Manatee Community
College towards an AA or AS (articulated degrees between Manatee Community
College and the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee).

Be in good academic standing.

Plan to matriculate to the University within one calendar year.

Submit an official transcript.

Complete the
USF Application for Admission
and associated documents. Contact the 2+2/Joint Admissions Advisor,
Lynn Drees, for the associated documents.

Pay the $30.00 application fee.
Students must complete their Associate in Arts or articulated Associate in
Science degree and meet University Admissions requirements to be considered for
full acceptance to the University. Understand that full admission to the
University does not guarantee acceptance to the limited access programs and

Appointments can be scheduled at MCC Bradenton, MCC Venice or at the USF
