The following is a list of
scholarships offered and
specific criteria for
each scholarship

 

American Society of Interior Designers Scholars Program
(Up to $1,000 Annually Fall and Spring Semesters) Student must be a Sarasota or Manatee County resident and a degree-seeking student. A current year FAFSA must be completed and financial need established. Also student must have an overall 3.0 GPA. Preference will be given to members of the ASID and/or their families.

Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Incentive Scholarship
(Up to $1250 Annually Fall and Spring Semesters) Student must be a degree-seeking student enrolled at least part time (6 hours) at the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus as an Accounting, Management Information Systems or Information Technologies major. The award will be prorated based on the number of hours enrolled per semester on the USF S-M campus. A current year FAFSA must be completed or demonstrated financial need must be established with written statement. Also student must have an overall 3.0 GPA.

Brunch on the Bay Endowed Scholars Program
(Up to $1,000 Annually Fall and Spring Semesters) Student must be a Sarasota or Manatee County resident and a degree-seeking student. A current year FAFSA must be completed. Student must be enrolled at least half time (6 hours) on the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus and have an overall 2.5 GPA.

Mary and Earl Watts Memorial Scholarship
(Up to $1,000 Annually Fall and Spring Semesters) Student must be a Sarasota or Manatee County resident and a degree-seeking student. A current year FAFSA must be completed. Also student must have an overall 2.5 GPA.

Checkers Drive In Restaurants Incentive Scholarship (Up to 2,500 annually Fall and Spring Semesters) Student must be a degree-seeking student enrolled at least half time (6 hours) on the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus as a Hotel and Restaurant Management major. A current year FAFSA must be completed or demonstrated financial aid need must be established with written statement.  Student must have an overall 3.0 GPA.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

William G. Selby and Marie Selby Foundation - Selby Achievers Program
(Up to $1,500 Annually Fall and Spring Semesters) Student must be a Charlotte, DeSoto, Manatee or Sarasota resident and a degree-seeking student enrolled at least half time (6 hours) but no more than 3 /4 time (11 hours) on the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus. A current year FAFSA must be completed and financial need established. Also student must have an overall 3.0 GPA.

Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants Scholarship
(Up to $2,000 Annually Fall and Spring Semesters) Student must be a degree-seeking student enrolled at the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus as an Accounting major. Student must demonstrate academic achievement. The semester award will be prorated based on the number of hours enrolled on the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus.

The William G. Selby and Marie Selby Foundation – Future Educators Program
(Up to $1,500 Annually Fall and Spring Semesters) Student must be a Charlotte, DeSoto, Manatee or Sarasota resident and a degree-seeking student enrolled at least half time (6 hours) on the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus in the College of Education. A current year FAFSA must be completed and financial need established. Also student must have an overall 3.0 GPA.

The Fred and Traudel Martin Scholarship in Hospitality Management

  • Incentive Scholarship:  (Up to $1000 annually Fall and Spring Semester) Student must be a continuing degree-seeking student enrolled at least half time(6hours) on the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus as a Hotel and Restaurant Management major. A current year FAFSA must be completed or financial aid need established. Student must have an overall 2.5 GPA.
  • Merit Scholarship: (Up to $1500 Annually Fall and Spring Semesters) Student must be a new degree-seeking student enrolled at least half time (6 hours) on the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus as a Hotel and Restaurant Management major.  A current year FAFSA must be completed or demonstrated financial need must be established.  Student must have an overall 3.0 GPA.
