Earning that trust and ensuring that a core of well-trained, technically advanced nurses will be available to care for Manatee County residents is one of the missions of Manatee Memorial Hospital Foundation Inc.
Manatee Memorial Hospital Foundation Inc. has partnered with the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee campus (USF) to encourage nursing education and to answer the nursing care needs of the community. Over the
next five years, through an endowed scholarship program, the Foundation is gifting $250,000 to recruit nurses to further their education through the baccalaureate and master's degree programs in nursing at USF Sarasota-Manatee.
