Academy for Lifelong Learning at USF Sarasota-Manatee announces Fall semester classes
SARASOTA, FL (August 24, 2007) – This Fall, the Academy for Lifelong Learning at USF Sarasota-Manatee will be offering 30 classes from October 8 to December 6. Thirteen of the classes are new to the program, and each class costs $65.
USF Sarasota-Manatee’s Academy for Lifelong Learning offers non-credit courses for adults who want to learn in a university setting and continue their education. Classes are administered in a collegial environment under the auspices of the university’s Office of Academic Affairs.

Classes are held in classrooms on the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus, located at 8350 North Tamiami Trail in north Sarasota County. Classes meet Monday through Thursday for an hour and a half, once a week for six to eight weeks, starting between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

The Academy for Lifelong Learning was developed to enrich the lives of mature adults in Sarasota and Manatee Counties by providing affordable, outstanding educational programs covering a broad spectrum of topics, rich in intellectual stimulation and worthy of being taught at a University. A key aspect of many of the programs will be class discussion and the Academy of Lifelong Learning will foster social interaction on and off the campus.
