Brunch on the Bay '01 fundraiser is Sunday, October 14
(Sarasota, FL, September 20, 2001) --
Dr. Laurey Stryker, CEO for USF Sarasota/Manatee and Dr. Gordon Michalson,
Acting President of New College Florida, invite you to attend Brunch on
the Bay '01, the popular student scholarship fundraiser that takes place
on beautiful Sarasota Bay. The event begins at 11:30 a.m. and ends
at 1:30 p.m. This year's brunch theme is "Investing in
Students."
Brunch on the Bay is the area's largest
gathering of community leaders on the historic bayfront campus setting of
USF and New College. Sip on mimosas while sampling the sumptuous
selections offered by the "best of the best" local restaurants
and caterers. And learn about exciting new plans for the expansion
of higher education opportunities in the Sarasota/Manatee area.
Individual tickets are $75.00 per person; a
table for 10 is $70.00 per person. More than 80% of the limited
seating is sold so reserve today! The RSVP deadline is Monday,
