Career Fair set for
March 20
More than 25 local employers signed up so far
(Sarasota, FL - March 6, 2003) -- More than 25
local employers have signed up so far for the USF Sarasota/Manatee Career
Fair on Thursday, March 20, 2003, from 3:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Sudakoff
Center. The public is invited to this free event designed to assist
people wanting to bolster their careers, change jobs, and find out about
degree programs USF offers at the Sarasota/Manatee campus.
Participating local
employers include the Colony Beach & Tennis Resort, G. Wiz Gulfcoast
Wonder & Imagination Zone, Lex Jet Corporation, Manatee County Government,
Manatee County School District, Manatee Glens Corporation, the Ritz
Carlton, and Target (Palmer Ranch location).
Campus tours and
information on degree programs will also be available.

The University of South
Florida Sarasota/Manatee Campus offers 29 accredited degree programs for
students to complete at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Currently serving 2,500 students annually, the campus is located at the
Sarasota/Manatee County line on 140 acres at University Parkway and U.S.
41, touching the shoreline of Sarasota Bay and adjacent to the John & Mable Ringling Museum of Art and Sarasota/Bradenton International Airport.
It is part of the University of South Florida, the second largest
university in Florida with more than 39,000 students, a Research I
institution, and one of the top 20 largest universities in the United
States.
