USF Sarasota/Manatee firms up management team

(Sarasota, FL, August 20, 2001) – Several appointments have recently been made by University of South Florida Sarasota/Manatee Campus CEO Dr. Laurey Stryker to firm up her management team.  Dr. Peter French is Chief Academic Officer/Associate Dean, formerly President of Newberry College in South Carolina and chief academic officer at two other institutions; Pam Doerr is Director, Student Services, promoted from Coordinator, Admissions and Advising; Ben Ellinor is Director, Business and Financial Services, formerly budget director for New College of Florida; and, Ellen Wile is Coordinator, University Relations/Public Affairs, formerly with Arthur Andersen.
