USF Sarasota-Manatee to Host Open House
SARASOTA, FL, (September 28, 2005) – On November 8, the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee will host an open house for prospective undergraduate and graduate students from 3pm to 7pm.
The event, entitled “Showcase on the Bay,” will give participants the opportunity to preview the new USF Sarasota-Manatee campus (opening fall 2006) and learn about the 35 degree programs and 4 certificate programs offered by the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business, Education and Nursing, and the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management.
Attendees can also chat with representatives from financial aid, admissions, academic advising, student government, Senior Academy, and the alumni association.
USF Sarasota-Manatee is an upper-level campus for those with an associate’s or bachelor’s degree who are interested in getting a baccalaureate or master’s degree, professional certification, or continuing education credit. We offer the prestige of a national Research 1 university with the convenience of a hometown campus, including classes in south Sarasota County at our Manatee Community College Venice site.
