Candlelight vigil to be held on Wednesday,
September 19, 5:30 p.m.
(Sarasota, FL, September 17, 2001) - A
candlelight vigil for the victims, their families and friends, of the September
11 terrorist attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C., and the four
airliners will be held on Wednesday, September 19, at 5:30 p.m. The vigil
will take place outside the Sudakoff Center at the University of South Florida
Sarasota/Manatee and New College of Florida campuses. Students, faculty,
staff and any interested members of the public are invited to gather at the
flagpole area outside the center, which is located on the east side of the
campuses off General Spaatz Blvd. The vigil is being organized by the
respective student government associations of USF Sarasota/Manatee and New
College of Florida.
