Homecoming earl and countess coronated 

SARASOTA, FL, (October 18, 2005) – USF Sarasota-Manatee students Jeffrey McDaniel and Nicole Stoddard were coronated USF Homecoming Earl and Countess this afternoon at the Westside Student Center. 

“It was a rather close race,” noted Student Affairs Coordinator Anne Dobson, “only 11 votes separated the first- and second-place finishers in the race for Countess."

"I'm honored to represent our campus," said USF Countess Nicole Stoddard. "I really appreciate everyone who voted for me."

"It's a privilege to represent USF Sarasota-Manatee," added USF Earl Jeffrey McDaniel.

As Earl and Countess, Mr. McDaniel and Ms. Stoddard will ride in the homecoming parade alongside other members of the USF royal court, including the Homecoming King and Queen from the main USF campus in Tampa, the Duke and Duchess from the USF St. Petersburg campus, and the Lord and Lady from the USF Lakeland campus.
