Panelists to discuss emerging healthcare challenges in Florida
SARASOTA, FL (June 18, 2007) – On Thursday, June 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the Center for Research in Healthcare Systems and Policies (CRHSP) at USF Sarasota-Manatee will be holding a conference on Healthcare in Florida: Challenges, Research and Solutions.
The conference will be held at the Selby Auditorium on the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus and will also include a panel of stakeholders that will discuss emerging healthcare challenges in Florida.
The CRHSP has worked diligently to foster research and awareness in the Sarasota-Manatee community to improve the health outcomes and assist health policy formation through the advancement of healthcare information systems that support clinical decision making and policy-formation; and facilitate programs that promote community health improvement by providing a scholarly forum that connects and educates researchers, providers, policy-makers, and the public.
Breakfast and refreshments will precede the conference starting at 7:45 a.m.
