USF Sarasota-Manatee hosts Hospitality and Business Career Networking fairs; open to the public

SARASOTA, FL (October 29, 2007) – USF Sarasota-Manatee will be hosting two cluster career networking fairs on Thursday, November 1, 2007 at USF Sarasota-Manatee’s Selby Auditorium, located at 8350 N. Tamiami Trail in Sarasota.

“Cluster” career fairs are designed around a specific School, College or industry and provide job seekers a unique opportunity to network within a specific industry. 

The Hospitality Career Networking Fair will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.   The event is tailored around the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management and serves the hotel, restaurant and tourism industry.   A few of the employers attending are Centerplate at Tropicana Field, The Colony Beach and Tennis Resort, Walt Disney World, Sarasota Convention and Visitors Bureau, SYSCO West Coast Florida, and Thayer Lodging Group.

The Business Career Networking Fair will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  The fair is designed around the College of Business including careers in accounting, finance, information system & decision science, management, marketing, information technology, and international business.  Some of the employers attending are Boar’s Head Provisions, Comcast Cable, Christopher Smith & Leonard, CPA, FCCI Insurance Group, LexJet Corporation, SunTrust Bank and Vertex, Inc.
