HOW DO I ENROLL FOR A TELECOURSE? You can telephone register for a telecourse just as you would for any other USF course during the registration period indicated in the current semester Schedule of Classes. Non-degree student enrollment has been established for people who would like to take a university course, for personal enrichment and career development or who plan to make formal application to the university at a later date. Non-degree seeking students may earn up to fourteen credit hours at the undergraduate level and twelve hours at the graduate level in this manner and most of the credits earned can be transferred towards their degree once they are admitted. Please verify with your advisor

  • Programs are broadcast on WUSF-TV, Channel 16 in Hillsborough, Manatee and Sarasota Counties (not including Venice, Englewood & Northport areas.) Most telecourses are also available online as video on demand.
  • Especially convenient for non-traditional students with busy schedules.
  • With scheduling conflicts, contingent upon professor's permission, students may make arrangements /appointments to take a make-up exam in the Telecourse office. Please call the Telecourse Office at 359-4616 in advance.
  • Course syllabi will be available one week before classes begin.

For further information on specific course offerings, please contact the Telecourse Office at 941-359-4616.
