Certificate programs offer a practical, concentrated study of a specific professional area. For some students, a certificate is a first step toward a degree; for others, a certificate complements the degree they're already earning. Still others earn a certificate to further their professional goals without enrolling in a degree program.

Most certificate programs consist of four to six courses in a single discipline and can be completed in just a few semesters.

Graduate Certificate Programs

Requires a Bachelor's degree. Graduate coursework.

 

Graduate Certificate in Geographical Information Systems Specialist

15 credit hours. Directed at managers and administrators in the public and private sectors, technical professionals, decision-makers, and others involved in the planning, implementation and use of GIS. 15 credit hours. The Industrial & Management Systems Engineering Department offers this certificate for individuals with technical backgrounds who desire to move into management, teaching students how to combine qualitative approaches with quantitative methods resulting in a strengthening of engineering credentials and the development of managerial competency. Graduate Certificate in Leadership in Developing Human Resources

15 credit hours. Offers professionals the opportunity to focus their studies on the human resource development needs of individuals and groups in a variety of employment settings. Apply Now

 

Graduate Certificate Reading Certificate & Endorsement Program

15 credit hours. Designed to meet the needs of teachers K-12 who want to increase their effectiveness in the teaching of reading and earn the reading endorsement by the State of Florida. 5 classes provide an in depth view of reading research, theory and the application on sound and current scientific research. Graduate Certificate in Post Master’s Educational Leadership

18 credit hours. Provides an opportunity for practicing teachers to improve their skills and to apply to have Educational Leadership certification added to their Florida Professional Educator's Certificate. Apply Now

 

Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Programs

IT Management Certificate

15 credit hours. Designed to provide the student an application-oriented managerial background in IT and enhance technical abilities.
