Classroom Technology

Each classroom on the Sarasota/Manatee campus has a consistent look and feel allowing faculty easily integrate technology into their lessons regardless of the room they are scheduled to teach in.  Each room is equipped with a "Teaching Station" that includes a DVD/VCR player, Document Camera, Multimedia PC and a special Sympodium Monitor.  All of this equipment is integrated via a touch screen control panel, providing seamless switching capabilities and integration with a ceiling mounted LCD projector.

On Demand Help

A huge benefit of our technology integration plan is the advent of the Help Feature located on the touch panel controls.  Having trouble getting the equipment to work? Not a problem! Just push the Help Button and an ITS team member will arrive shortly to assist you.  You no longer have to delay your class to trouble shoot an issue yourself or call our helpdesk, thus saving valuable instruction time.
