This program offers
interested faculty access to support in order to develop their
confidence and skills further to integrate technology into their
teaching. FITT is intended as a collaborative process, which offers
faculty an opportunity to share and learn from each other with the
assistance of our experienced technology specialists on the
Sarasota/Manatee campus.
Aims of the program:
• To keep
faculty up to date on emerging technologies
• To enhance the infusion of technology into teaching
• To offer an appropriate level of individual and small group
support that enables practical applications of teaching to be
nurtured
• To demonstrate technological processes that faculty can take
advantage of in their teaching and learning
• To offer an individual needs based program that meets the
diverse strengths of faculty
• To support the established FITT network on the USF
Sarasota/Manatee Campus
• To offer, through the Blackboard FITT organization, a
centralized location for sharing and collaboration.
