Classroom Technology
Instructional Technology Services offer classroom technology related trainings on a regular basis during the semester. Faculty members will learn how to use the Sympodium, DVD/VCR, Doc Camera,  and Projector located in each classroom to facilitate effective teaching using the technology.
 

Faculty Development
Associated with the FITT organization, ITS staff offers faculty development workshops on Sarasota-Manatee campus. Faculty members have the opportunities to be exposed to both synchronous and asynchronous technology, our classroom management system, multimedia and other emerging technologies which can be incorporated into their teaching.
 

Individualized Training
ITS staff also address faculty members' individual needs to improve their teaching using technology. If faculty want to do something that is not covered in the workshops, ITS staff recommends software applications and usage strategies.  Then, we show them how to use the software and apply the strategies to reach their goals.
