USF Sarasota-Manatee Dean named VP of Arts and Culture at Sarasota Sister Cities

SARASOTA, FL (July 16, 2009) – Dr. Jane Rose, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee, has been named Vice President for Arts & Culture of the Sarasota Sister Cities Association, Inc. (SSCA) 

The SSCA fosters international relationships between Sarasota and international cities that have similar interests by creating exchanges in areas of culture, education, tourism, business and government. 

As Vice President, Rose will be working on developing partnerships with other cultural and community organizations in the sister cities through art and culture.
