Veterans Services
Veterans Services was established to provide specialized services to veterans, eligible dependents, active duty servicepersons, and members of the Selected Reserve. The staff assists students to initiate, continue, or resume their education, and use their Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) educational benefits.
The Financial Aid Office at USF Sarasota-Manatee is available to assist you with obtaining, completing, and submitting your documentation to the Veterans Services Office on the Tampa Campus. The Veterans Services Office is staffed by three full-time staff and VA students under the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Work-Study program. However, Veterans Services is not part of the VA, they are part of the USF Counseling Center. The staff provides a point-of-contact for VA students attending USF, assists students with using their VA Educational Benefits, and serves as information and referral resources.
Other departments within the Office of Student Services (SMC C107) on the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus are here to assist you from 8:00am to 6:00pm Monday thru Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Friday (except holidays) and can be reached at Tel: (941) 359-4330.
