About the new USF Sarasota-Manatee campus

The new USF Sarasota-Manatee campus, now open, is located about 1/2 mile north of University Parkway on US 41 (Tamiami Trail) in Sarasota, Florida.

The 100,000-square-foot state-of-the-art academic facility houses 24 classrooms, a 190-seat lecture/exhibition hall, seminar and video-conferencing rooms, computer labs, a child-care center, student gathering places, faculty and staff offices, a technology and learning center, dining facilities, and training facilities for the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management.

The new campus offers some 800 courses annually in 39 academic programs.

The building design reflects the surrounding Mediterranean architecture found throughout our region and will provide inspired learning in a historical setting.
