Leadership Minor and Certificate Program

 Overview
The University of South Florida has created a Leadership Studies program that provides students a practical and theoretical grasp of leadership at the undergraduate level. This prepares students to be superior leaders in their profession upon graduation. Leaders are needed in every field, whether you are becoming a teacher or an engineer. This Leadership Studies program is interdisciplinary in nature, and should be of significant benefit to students in all areas of study.

The Leadership Studies program has a unique approach to leadership education. It combines practical theories of leadership and learning, thereby affording the opportunity for students to study the nature of authority, leadership, social and role dynamics, political processes and the values that orient their careers. In these courses, students will learn personal, diagnostic, operational, and tactical skills; and are challenged to investigate self, context, and strategy.
